Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle
The Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle is a Grade 1 and is the ultimate test for the very best long-distance novice hurdlers, being run over 3m and with 12 hurdles to jump.
Since it was first run in 2005, its most successful winner has been Bobs Worth, who went on to win the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival the following year and the Cheltenham Gold Cup two years later.
The Stayers’ Hurdle winners in 2018, 2019 & 2020 had all competed in this race the year beforehand.
