The Champion Bumper
The Champion Bumper is the only race at the meeting during which no obstacles are jumped.
The event, open to four, five and six-year-olds only, has been a huge success since its inception in 1992.
It is for horses who are yet to begin their jumping careers and has been the starting point for many top-class hurdlers and chasers, including King George winners Florida Pearl and Cue Card.
